Manoli grew up in Rhodes, Greece so we are proud to offer some beautiful styles from Europe.
The styles we usually offer are from Greece and often times from friends of Manoli’s. We often have ancient and certified coins from ancient Greece and Italy. We also offer byzantine style handmade jewelry from Greece as well as some more modern styles that are usually handmade and in 18 karat gold.
Much of our gold jewelry is from Italy and some of the most fun styles are fashioned from Murano glass that was created in Murano Italy and infused with 24 karat gold.
We carry a line of sterling silver jewelry called “Hot Diamonds” that is created in the United Kingdom. It is rhodium plated so it will not tarnish with normal wear and is accented with diamonds.
We have what is frequently called the “evil eye” pendant or charm and recently found out that the reason the eye is blue is because the color blue is associated with protection in Greece. The eye is often times pinned onto a child’s clothing to protect him from the evil eye. Adults wear these as well. It is a fairly new concept in the USA but is being shown in many upscale magazines here in the past few years.
